Whether you are thinking of a career change, looking to see if dog grooming could appeal to you or simply want to learn how to care for your own pet, our Phase 1 course covers the basics and is the ideal place to start. Perfect for beginners with no experience, it enables you to gain skills, get a feel for the industry and build a platform for you to start your dog grooming journey. Our expert tutors at Anrich Grooming School will guide you through hands on practical sessions covering a range of elements including bathing and drying techniques, coat preparation, introduction to clipping & styling techniques, nail & ear care, de-matting, health checking, canine anatomy, as well as equipment care & maintenance.

All the dogs are provided for you whilst you are on the course giving you a variety of breeds, coat types & techniques to work with.

With a maximum of 6 students per class you will be always under constant supervision from our highly skilled tutors.

When Will I Start the Course and How Long Will It Take?

Our Phase 1 courses are 2 weeks long, running Monday to Friday (10 days). We run these courses all throughout the year enabling you to find one that suits you.
