In-Depth Dog Grooming Course – Phase 2

Following on from our introductory Phase 1 course, This Phase 2 course offers more in-depth training for those now wishing to start a career in the industry. Upon completion, you should feel more equipped to start working as a dog groomer in your desired field whether this is to be working in an established salon, becoming self-employed, renting a table or going mobile. We believe the best way to gain skills and confidence is to experience as much hands-on practice as possible which is why our course is majority practical based. As well as hands-on practical sessions you will also see live demonstrations by our highly experienced principal tutor showcasing the standard of work that we hope to pass on to you.

Theory aspects are set as home study to enable you to fully utilise your days in the school for hands on practice under the supervision of our highly skilled tutors at Anrich Grooming School.

Included in the course is an Animal Health & First Aid seminar run by our in-house veterinary nurse. For those wanting to take the leap and start their own business, we offer seminars on Business Management and Advertising. These seminars included in the price of the course are held outside of the course days so you can attend at a time that suits you.

When Will I Start the Course and How Long Will It Take?

Phase 2 is a 2-week placement running Monday to Friday (10 days)
It can be attended on its own (as long as phase 1 has already been completed) or it can be run alongside Stage 1 to make up a 4-week placement. For those knowing they want to go into the industry and make a career change, we do advice doing stage 1 and Stage 2 together as a 4-week placement to get the full benefit intense training.
