Having no prior knowledge of dog grooming I began a training course at Anrich in May 2008 and today, just over 5 months later, operate and own a highly profitable mobile dog grooming business “Roadog”. This in my opinion is largely due to the superior training & techniques I acquired from my tutor, who offered excellent support throughout my training and this continued well after completion of the five-week training course. I am still able to contact my tutor today for reliable advice and support. I believe the knowledge and expertise passed on by the team to prospective trainees within the field of dog grooming are of superior quality.

Pawsers Ltd have now been trading for 3 years and was founded by Katie Carter, Katie attended Anrich Veterinary college for her dog grooming training.She was provided with 1st class training to city & Guilds standards.
Having trawled the internet for groomer training suppliers it was decided to go with Anrich for a number of reasons, 1st was location and second was quality of training and 3rd was cost. after looking at a number of courses nationwide Anrich seemed to fit the bill on all counts.
After 3 months of training Katie had aquired the skills to feel confident enough to set out on her own with a mobile business based in a transit van, this included full electrics, a hydrobath, an electric adjustable grooming table, turbo dryers and an assortment of clippers blades and scissors.
From day 1 pawsers had a minimum of 3 dogs per day, more than enough for a new groomer to improve her skills on!! after just 1 years trading Pawsers opened up a grooming salon in Eccleston and now employs 3 staff and regularly has in excess of 8 dogs per day rising to 13 on busy periods ie: christmas etc.
Pawsers Have since opening the salon in 2007 sent 2 apprentice groomers to Anrich for training and the skills they have returned with have made them more than confident in dealing with all types of dogs so much so that after only 6 months one of the groomers can be left alone to run the salon and give Katie a much needed rest!
The secret to good business is good training, good customer skills, good referals as well as sound advertising. The underpinning knowledge to aid all this was found at Anrich, who are always available for more information/advice even after the course has ended.
